Overview
The Columbia River Gorge is the Pacific Northwest in concentrated form — a basalt canyon carved by glacial floods, dotted with century-old waterfalls and one of the most beautiful stretches of road in America. This half-day tour gives you four unhurried hours along the Historic Columbia River Highway, visiting five major stops with time to actually breathe at each one.
We pick you up in downtown Portland (or PDX), drive about 30 minutes east, and weave through Vista House, three waterfalls, Multnomah Falls (the headline act at 620 feet), and a final overlook at Rooster Rock before returning. If you want a little more, we can add a quiet visit to The Grotto, a Catholic outdoor sanctuary carved into a 110-foot cliff.
